Life is challenging. Anxiety, substance abuse, depression, relationship issues, and trauma are a few ways in which our problems manifest. We become overwhelmed and our usual ways of coping no longer work. Sometimes, we never learned how to cope with difficult feelings and situations in the first place, so we turn to alcohol, drugs, food or other objects to help us feel better, or not feel at all. After awhile, we feel empty, lost, or we just want more from our lives.

Therapy can help you find your way. Together, we work to understand how you want to live, what you want out of life, and many times, what you don't want in your life any longer. Sometimes it may seem impossible to regain control in your life, or seem like things will never be "good" or "healthy" again, but change is possible. You have within you what you need in order to make changes in your life. I'm here to help you realize your strength and learn new ways of coping and relating that guide you to realization of your goals.
